If you find yourself wandering the vibrant streets of Gurugram, a visit to Laxman Cafe is a must for any coffee lover or casual diner seeking a delightful escape. Nestled at 96, Huda Market Rd, in the bustling Block B of Sector 56, this quaint cafe has evolved into a local gem renowned for its classic offerings and welcoming atmosphere.

The cafe's charm lies in its dedication to high-quality beverages, particularly its famed hand-beaten cold coffee, which has garnered a loyal following over the years. Priced at just ₹70, this refreshing drink is an ideal companion to beat the heat, delivering a robust coffee experience that awakens the senses. If you’re in the mood for something a tad sweeter, try the Peanut Butter Cold Coffee with Hazelnut, or indulge yourself with the decadent Hand Beaten Cold Coffee with Ice Cream, both available for ₹90. Each sip is a creamy, frothy delight, providing a perfect balance of flavors that keep customers coming back for more.

But it’s not just the coffee that shines at Laxman Cafe. The menu extends to an array of tempting shakes, with offerings like the Mango Deewana Shake and Nutella Shake that not only tantalize the taste buds but also evoke a sense of nostalgia and playful indulgence. These shakes, priced from ₹60 to ₹150, are perfect for quenching your thirst on warm days or as a treat after a long work week.

The atmosphere at Laxman Cafe is equally inviting, especially in the evenings when the space fills with a vibrant mix of locals and students, all gathered for good food and great conversation. Reviewers like Manish Sharma praise the lively ambience, noting that weekends bring a delightful crowd, offering a sense of community that fosters connections over delicious bites. However, it's worth mentioning that the cafe can get quite crowded, particularly on weekends. If you prefer a quieter experience, visiting during weekdays is a great option.

Certainly, Laxman Cafe stands out not just for its food but for its significant role in shaping the street food scene in Sector 56. Shilpi Singh eloquently remarks that this beloved locale helped spur a wave of new cafes in the area, all striving to capture a fraction of its magic—but Laxman remains the original and, by many accounts, the best. Customers appreciate its unpretentious vibe, which offers a break from pricey, high-end restaurants, making it a top choice for budget-conscious diners looking to enjoy good food without the fuss.

However, it's worth noting, as Ajay Dixit mentions, that the open air and casual setup do allow for smoking, which might not be to everyone's taste. If you're sensitive to smoke, consider that when planning your visit. Nonetheless, the overall experience—great coffee, a supportive community, and an energetic vibe—makes Laxman Cafe a beloved spot in Gurugram.

In summary, whether you're seeking a sumptuous shake, a revitalizing cold coffee, or simply a cozy spot to unwind with friends, Laxman Cafe checks all the boxes. Its mix of flavorful offerings and a community-centric atmosphere captures the very essence of local dining in Gurugram, making it worthy of both your time and your taste. Be sure to stop by and savor the magic for yourself!

Food is tasty. We tried their cheese Grilled Sandwich and plain maggie. Both are tasty. The cafe is famous for their hand beaten cold and hot coffee. Crowded on weekends. Nice atmosphere in the evening especially on weekend evenings.

I am coming here for 10 years, but there is no change in the taste of tea. I would encourage Laxman that he has worked hard in the starting time. Nowadays there are so many options like chai- shai, Tapri, hand beaten coffee just because of Lakshman Tea stall .

The hospital of the owner of the shop is too good. I asked him if I will really get the mango shake as tempting as it is shown on the displayed pictures on his banner, he promised me that it will be even better than that and even gave a discount. To my surprise it was even better than the shown picture, really impressed. Keep doing good.

Laxman Tea Stall is probably what has made the sector-56, HUDA Market a street food hub of Gurgaon. It became so famous among youngsters, that many other cafés n tea stalls opened in the same market copying their format. But still, original is original. It's an awesome hangout point for youngsters who do not want to spend thousands of rupees in the over-expensive & over-flashy restaurants n bars of Gurgaon. This huge open air tea-stall that offers tea, coffee, shakes, brownies, bread-omlette & maggi gives a very university ambience feel that makes it even more charming. Their food & beverages taste pretty good for the cheap price that they offer, ranging from 30-150₹ (50 cents to 2 $).

Decent café for a quick evening sip. Lots of youth prefer this place, especially on the weekends. Good open space to sit around, adjacent to B10 Café. The only problem is that smoking is allowed in this public place. Almost everybody smokes and this makes it a virtual tobacco chimney. Those kind of people may like it.
